Arm or hand dystonia-writer’s cramp and musician’s cramp

•Writer’s cramp is also called task specific dystonia as they occurred only when performing a specific task.
•In case of writer’s cramp,  the automatic fluid movements of the fingers when writing are lost. The patient grips tightly his pen and moves his all hand or arm in order to write.
•The patient fights for spasm in flexion or extension of his fingers and adopts an abnormal way of holding the pen
